HOPPY2PORTER

Are we nearly there…are we nearly there…?

Well…we are pleased to say, “Yes!”

The first Hoppy Porter was very popular, yet the Brew Crew wasn’t sure that all the flavour balance was there. So, we looked hard at the recipe to see where we could get the ingredients to the perfect balance.

We made two changes; another choice of yeast to assist with the mouthfeel, and of course, more of Richard’s favourite sticky green stuff…yes heaps more!

The result is an awesome wall of floral tropical fruit hop aroma clambering out of the beer glass, hitting the nose with sensory pleasure…mmm. Followed by a subtle smokey malt mouthfeel that really complements the hop profile.

Now the question begs, do we sit outside in the sunshine and enjoy this lovely “black Pilsner” or revel in the sunny flavours at the bar in the dark evening?

Cheers
